Current Mentoring Opportunities
There are many mentoring job opportunities available in January of 2009!
We are especially in need of mentors for our Youth Off The Street Program, scheduled to begin in January.
Overview: Mentors meet with their mentees twice a month for facilitated, group sessions that focus on trust, tolerance, violence prevention, self-expression, and teamwork, and for fun one-on-one activities. We provide mentors and mentees with the support they need for a fulfilling, successful mentoring relationship.
Location: IT's All About The Youth Foundation, 4710 Leroy Gorham Drive, Capital Heights Maryland 20743.
Time Commitment: Mentors make a 12-month commitment to meet with their mentee, every other week from 5-7 pm, with a phone call or other contact in between scheduled sessions.
